The basis of this recipe comes from the book “Food as medicine ‘Dale Pinnock. I have my own energy bombs made by a few small changes.

This energy bombs are fantastic little snacks to have on hand in the fridge for when you need a boost.

Spirulina is a blue-green saltwater algae that contains many proteins, essential fatty acids and B vitamins.

Ingredients

For 10-12 persons

250 grams of dates, pitted

200 grams of raw walnuts

50 grams of almonds

3 teaspoons spirulinapoeder

Pinch Chia seed

shredded, dried coconut

Preparation

Put the dates, walnuts and almonds, and spirulina chia seeds in a food processor at the highest setting until a stiff paste.

Sprinkle the coconut on a plate and put a clean plate ready. As you grind the ingredients at high speed, the oil is extracted from the nuts and you get an oily paste.

Pick pieces the size of a thumb of the pasta, turn it into balls, roll the balls in grated coconut and place on the clean plate.

Put the balls a few hours in the fridge to stiffen them.

In the fridge a few weeks.

A delicious healthy energetic snack.
